FIT

So, I did not get in, because the portfolio was not strong enough. But, in order to make my portfolio stronger (with fashion illustrations not with shoes, shirts etc. my stuff), I am going to take classes at FIT and reapply for Fall '09. I am really excited to be moving back to NYC. It's going to be so much fun, and since I am going as a part time student, I will have a lot of time to hustle and sell my shirts, get more sneaker clients, sell on the street maybe. I'm excited.

NEW NEWS

New plan:
I want to move more into the clothing design thing, so I applied to transfer to FIT in NYC. This will give me a larger market than DC. Also it will allow me to design clothes with combine that style with my artistic style. I want to combine them into one amazing clothing line. I had to do a large portfolio, and I just finished applying last Friday. I had to construct a garment for my portfolio here are the pictures:

I included another garment to show the other side of my aesthetic.
Model: Victoria Moutis

MY GOAL:
COMBINE THE TWO STYLES TO CREATE A NEW STYLE CLOTHING LINE (KIMBO)

**by the way**

- THE T-SHIRTS ARE IN!!!! They will be available for purchase within the week. They include the samples below, and two other new shirts! They can be worn by ANYBODY! Keep updated.

PREVIEW: T-Shirts

Okay, so today I went to meet up with my T-shirt guy to check out the samples for my new T-shirts. There are four T-shirts, all white with different designs on them. They are pretty good quality, but they are going to be made a little softer, and some of the designs need a little editing. This shirt is ready for production, this one is in black and white, it's pretty straight forward:

This is also ready for production, its a little busier:

<- It's kind of a little wild, with different shades of blue and teals and black, I just had fun with it.

Oh, and on the sleeve is my LOGO!
The other shirts have a little more editing involved, with the placement and the color choice. I will show them when they are ready for production.

STORE

New Store is up and running. The apparel available is limited to hats and the customizing service. Here are some new updates:
My t shirts are being printed up and they will be coming soon. There will be four different white t shirts that will be available. Along with the t shirts, the backpacks I have been designing will be available for purchase on the online store. Everything I design for this company will be under a line called "Extreme Technique," they will be available in stores for the back to school season. Everything is in the process of being made but they all should be arriving around the same time.

Shirt time.

Ok, I finally finished these T-shirt designs. There are four that are going to be available for purchase in about a month. The designs are going out next Monday to a man who owns Tshirt manufacturing factories in New Delhi, India. I am really really excited to actually get some clothing that I could sell, instead of customizing everything. These designs are going to be on white shirts available in all sizes, guys and girls. They should be pretty solid. I am really excited and pictures will come up when they are finished. If you want one let me know, but they won't be ready for a little while, it is the beginning of the process. Keep posted!
